Extremely durable and slip resistant fibreglass strips
- Increase safety on stairs with enhanced grip, and greater visibility because of contrast colour of edging
- Ceramic grit which measures nine on the Mohs hardness scale (diamonds measure ten) makes the EdgeGrip nosings twice as durable as the standard ceramic variety
- The special fibreglass material will resist a wide range of temperatures and physical stress
Also resistant to stretching, swelling and warping
Feathered edging on the nosing enables it to be fitted to extra deep steps and landings without causing a trip hazard
Will cover lightly chipped stair edges to make them safer as well as protecting them from further damage
These nosings comply with standards under the Disability Discrimination Act Part III relating to partially sighted people
Building Regulations for new builds state that the nosing must be 55 by 55 mm; choose either this or the standard size of 70 x 30mm
We supply two grades of edging: fine for indoor use, and coarse for external applications
